When we visited Ireland last winter, one of the things Sam and I knew for sure was that we wanted to drive the Wild Atlantic Way along Ireland’s gorgeous west coast.
The entire route is 1600 miles long and runs from the Inishowen Peninsula in the north to Kinsale in the south. Since our trip was a week long, we only had time to drive the portion between Galway and Kenmare.

We visited a few major landmarks along the way, such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Ring of Kerry. But we found the entire coastline to be spectacular. We pulled over roughly every 10 minutes to snap pictures in random places because the views are so gorgeous.
Here is some of what we saw.
